Feel strong

Yoga builds real strength — slowly held, honestly earned.

Holding your own bodyweight in good alignment is strength training, whatever the equipment industry says. Planks, warrior holds, and slow lowering build the deep stabilizers that machines miss — the muscles that keep shoulders, hips, and spine reliable as you age.

Yoga strength is isometric and time-based: the pose doesn't get heavier, you simply stay. Start with shorter holds done well rather than long holds done badly. Shaking is normal; pain in a joint is not.
