Yoga in a hotel
Every room has a studio in it
Business travel is a stiffness machine: flights, unfamiliar beds, long dinners, and days without your routines. But every hotel room contains a strip of floor beside the bed, a wall, and a chair — which is, by FeelYoga arithmetic, a complete studio.
The hotel practices are deliberately no-mat: carpet plus a spread towel handles the little floor work they include. Ten minutes on arrival and five the next morning keep a trip from undoing a month of practice.
Make it work
- · Practice on arrival, before unpacking — it re-sets body clock and mood better than the minibar.
- · The bed headboard wall is your Legs Up the Wall station.
- · A bath towel is the traveling mat for the floor poses that need one.
- · Morning routine beats hotel-gym intentions: it needs no shoes, no equipment, and no elevator.
