Lifter's Recovery

Mobility for the muscles you just shortened on purpose.

Strength training shortens tissue under load — that's the adaptation working. But without counter-length, pressing days stiffen chest and shoulders, and squat and hinge days lock up hips and the thoracic spine. This sequence is the counter-length.

Use it on rest days or several hours after training, not immediately before lifting heavy — long static holds right before max effort blunt power output.

Breath

Long exhales into each hold — sympathetic drive from training keeps tissue guarded; slow breath unguards it.

To finish

Two minutes flat on the back. Recovery is where the training becomes strength.
