Pool Flow
Standing yoga in chest-deep water — buoyancy does the propping.
Water changes the arithmetic of yoga. In chest-deep water, buoyancy supports a large share of your body weight, so standing poses cost less and falling costs almost nothing — while every movement meets gentle, even resistance that a mat can't provide. It's the friendliest strength-and-balance environment there is.
Practice in shallow water (roughly navel to chest deep) with the pool edge within arm's reach. Move slower than on land; the water rewards it. Skip anything face-down and keep this out of deep water — it's a standing practice, not a swimming one.

Press arms down through the water and feel the resistance work the shoulders.
- 7
Tree PoseVrksasana6 breaths per side
The pose transforms in water — wobbles are slow and safe. Edge within reach.

- 9
Standing Side BendIndudalasana4 breaths per side
- 10
Standing Deep BreathingPranayama6 rounds

Breath
Slower than on land — the water sets a pace; match it.
To finish
Float on your back for a minute if the pool is calm. Few savasanas beat it.
Prints clean — pin it where you'll practice.
